I didn't know it existed until I went out West...then I found out a Carl's Jr is just a Hardee's.

Seeing as I'm related to the Carl of Carl's Jr. I am obligated to correct you. Hardee's is just a Carl's Jr.

CKE, the corporation bought the Hardee's franchise in the early 80s as an easy expansion into the Midwest and East/South.

But ya. Same same.

Point of interest: there's no fry sauce in California. Only ketchup or seasoned fries.

Unless you're thinking of spread from In 'n Out. That's proper fry sauce and everyone likes in n out. Everyone.

The speed from in-n-out is Thousand Island Dressing thickened up. Very close to the fry sauce I found here at 5Guys, but the in-n-out spread has chunks of stuff in it.

I order animal style fries with no spread cause I don't like it.

Edit: I do like it on the burgers. So you have a point.
