Family has been eating up my Jeep Quality time. I've managed a few hours working on the XJ, had to helicoil one of the oil pan bolts - Thanks PO! he stripped the stock bolt then drilled and "tapped" a larger bolt in place. In the process, he hadd completely eliminated the metal crush ring from the gasket and ripped it: This the new oil pan gasket.

YJ is kinda in a holding pattern for now. going to be my DD for about a year or two, do working on this flip XJ to buy more YJ stuff.

Good luck on the carb Obi. We did the in our interior.. holding up great a year + later.

I thought your daughter was driving the thing? Here you go and buy a new jeep and take hers too?!

I also thought you planned on keeping the XJ. Man I'm confused. We're you still planning on heading up this way in Oct?

Adopt your pets. Don't shop for them.

Daughter's YJ -she will be at school next semester and then going on a 18 month mission for our church. So 2 years of me driving it as a DD. I had a 07 Camry, but got rid of it for th YJ and to save the car payment to save up for my own project YJ at the 2-year mark.

XJ is a project flip with a friend I work and Jeep with, 'cept he moved from a YJ to a JKU Rubi (ya he's gettin soft) I should earn enough off this XJ to get OME springs, MORE shackles, AA SYE and CV rear shaft.

Next XJ will pay for rear axle and locker.. and so on and so on.
