There is no such thing as finishing a Jeep.......

I would rather have a broke Jeep, than no Jeep at all.

Exactly what I thought when I read the thread title.

OP, If I were to do a complete color change I'd do a non-metallic tan/cream/off-white with matching wheels and bumpers. Safari-style.

But, that's just me.

You can always tell when winter is near because there are a dozen "my 4wd isn't working" threads. We should consolidate them likethe trackbar threads.

I wasn't being a prick Richard; I was making a light hearted statement that most Jeep lovers understand.

Now after reading your statement I would LOVE to be a prick to you but you are not worth it.

What should I sell it for?

I have owned my yj for the last five and a half years. This last summer I did a spring over with waggy springs and full width d44/9in. There is an ARB up front and a Detroit soft locker out back. 5.13 gears. I put a teraflex sye kit on it as well as a cut down cherokee driveshaft. It is sitting on 37x12.5x15 old style mtrs with at least 60% tread on them. It is still missing rear shocks, front drive line, rear traction bar, and a compressor for the ARB. I have driven it on the freeway and around town plenty of times to be confident that everything works. I just think I built it beyond what I need for the type/how often I go wheeling. Plus I don't like the way the detroit handles around town, so it just ends up sitting. I would like to have a more street friendly jeep again(should have kept it how it was). So I'm throwing around the idea of selling it to start with something else. Just wondering what you all would pay/think this is worth in its current state.

Can anyone help the new guy?

Hi,

I've bought my first jeep, a 1994 wrangler YJ with a 4" lift. The problem is the steering is really loose, probably quite dangerous to be on the road.

Is this a common problem? More to the point is it a major/expensive problem to deal with?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really don't have a clue where to start.

Thanks
