Norco , but they make me sick , so I am mainly using just 600 mg of Ibuprofen . Weird how the pain comes and goes , My first surgery ever so I have no experience with this sort of thing . Had no idea it would hurt this much .

I feel for you. The pain sucks. Especially when you can't get ahead of it. Hang tough and grit your teeth. The worst of it will pass.

Cheers

When I had my back surgery in 2004 I only took ibuprofen. They gave my Percocet and Vicodin but I heard people talk about getting addicted to pain meds so I only took ibuprofen when I needed it.

Stay ahead of the pain instead of chasing it. They give you prescription reccomendations for a reason.

You must be a tough MF'er! I had a fixture put in my back 4 years ago and I took both of those for 3 or 4 weeks. I could not have got thru the 1st 2 weeks without drugs. after that I kept reducing the dosage till I only needed naproxin. I still take that in the form of Alieve several times a week to deal with the aches.

Thank You all for your kind thoughts & concern . They are MUCH Appreciated and taken to heart !
The Ibuprofen take the edge off best , I am thinking due to its anti inflammatory qualities .

I had a pinched nerve because I bulged disc. They had to scrape the disc. To relieve the pressure. It worked thank God.
