Actually looking forward to putting a spotlessly clean and freshly Monstalined Jeep back together
Throw a true neutral plate in it while its open.

I feel silly for asking this, what exactly is a true neutral plate?

No problem. I put one in mine when I added my SYE in anticipation of my front locker going in. I'm all set to flat tow with confidence.

I guess I have no need for one. My jeep is a trailer queen. Would it be an issue to be towed at low speeds, like off the trail or on the shoulder of the highway?

I guess that would depend on if you have a front locker or not. Before I had a locker I could tow it but it would be in the back of my mind that it may cause a problem. Now that I have a Lockright up front I wouldn't even consider it without the plate. $25 worth of trouble avoidance.

I won't be flat towing my YJ, if I tow it I'll just put it on a trailer to keep miles off of it.

All about that unibody life.
