Thus it being in a specific section ie. YJ forum. But I wasn't trying to bash anyone just making sure we were clear that it wasn't even a jeep haha

I saw a brand new hummer today with 6 rear shocks.. 4 were mounted right behind the pumpkin on what looked like a sway bar. It looked like it was lifted 6-8 inches.

a friend of mine built a "Show Truck" back in the early 90's . It had 4 shocks per wheel . He drilled a hole in 3 per wheel to let the gas out , so it would ride better .

Meh. I see and accept your valid point although I feel it's only specific because its YJ owners here.

We should pick a new "/f12 avatar theme." Anyone have any ideas? It's about time to change mine up and I thought it was pretty cool when we all had a theme going on....

Cheers

Found this on Craigslist today... Poor guy screwed up his "angry eyes" and made his jeep have "sad eyes"... Or maybe the jeep is actually sad from the 3" lift shackles

YJ related, but not Yj related enough for the WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY thread...

Got a mini fridge on Friday... was labelled "Trash" in the Math Dept. on campus and it was a few rooms away from my work area in the Robotics Lab so I took it. Let it settle for 30mins as I fiddled with the door and the hinges before plugging it in (seems the only issues are a bunch of surface rust and a busted lower door hinge). Set it to medium and forgot about it. Maybe 30 mins later and there was ICE forming on the little freezer compartment! No cooling issues so far!

No space in the back of the YJ so I strapped it into the passenger seat and took it home. Sure, maybe some folks frown on grabbing stuff labeled as "trash", however it's a $5 fix for something I wanted but wouldn't really have considered buying on a tight college kid budget

I think Old4X4 has the sad eyes. He did it on purpose.

Why are leaf springs so expensive>?
It's cheaper to liff my YJ (shocks included) than to put stock springs on it
