Welcome.

I believe you need to get a test light and check your connections and especially grounds at the sensor and at the gauge

This^

The default inop is to peg out. It's more than likely the ground for that gauge. Test the ground, clean up any rust at the ground location, stay calm and jeep on.

I got the taupe lifeproof case when I got my iPhone. So far it's pretty legit. Worth the extra pennies for a waterproof/dirt proof case

My daughter and I are camping/wheeling this weekend. I texted her to let her know I needed the Jeep to freshen up all the fluids tonight.

She replied that she knows we are going to have a great time, but that we will have mechanical issues.

I asked her why she thought we would have mechanical issues.

She replied:
Because when you drive, we have a loose nut behind the wheel.

Where are you going camping at?

We aren't signed up for the Big Bear Jeep Jamboree, but it's in Big Bear Ca when we are up there. I don;t have a lot of experience and really didn't want to get stuck in the remedial "fire trails" groups with our stocker Jeep, so a buddy that drives an 07 Rubi Unl and his family and we are camping up in Big Bear and going trail riding on our own. I need to learn more and so does my daughter.

I run Cleghorn a lot. Its good for beginners. From the 15 on Cleghorn to Silverwood Lake. That's fairly close to where you going. We've camped at Silverwood as well.

Some parts down the backside to Silverwood can be very challenging in a stock YJ. Ask me how I know.

Hated it! Sticking with the otter box. Seemed like I had to take the dumb thing off to do anything. Hope you have better luck.
