He seemed to be all over them. Though I think just recommending them is enough, not trying to solicit them.

Usually the admins give a warning beforehand though...

He's a kid trying to earn his way. There are certainly worse things he could be doing with much greater consequences. He will learn a lesson here and get off easy. We should all be so lucky.

Indeed we should all be so lucky. Lets not speak of it anymore lest we all be banned. I'm not joking, my first PM was a threat on that very subject by a moderator.

So not sure if this is the right place , But thought I would get some feed back . It's really starting to warm up here in the Sunny SF East Bay . My Son (22 years old ) the proud owner of a 89 XJ , doesn't have working AC. So last night he decides the heck with this , & pulls his Doors off . He drives into work this Morning and proceeds to get a total Ration of SH** from every one . My buddy who works with him Calls me and say "What the H*** is wrong with him " . I said to him It seams like totally Natural thing to do to me . So what do you guys think ? Are people just afraid of what they don't understand ?

i see xjs with no doors all the time. it is a little more sketchy because it lacks a roll cage so the doors do help support the roof and protect you a small amount. but i ran my old zj doorless all the time but only offroad. i think it looks weird. an option that may be good for him that makes people go less psycho would be to get a crap set of doors and build half doors. or tube doors.

Seems legit to me. Unibody Jeep may be a little flexy without the doors, but seat belts and go IMO.

Its hot in the valley here too Joe. If I could remove the floorboard to get a little more airflow to the "boys" I would. Well, there would be some retaliation from the guys with rust problems and I would get flamed for cutting up a perfectly good Yj tub.

My wife has a strange phobia of my daughter driving her YJ without the doors. When we first got it, it had no doors and she was ok with it- even ride in it around town with no doors. Maybe it's just she is scared for our daughter.

Just run a tube out the window routed under the dash and aimed carefully
