YJ Buildup

i am changin out my 4 banger automatic for a 4.0L manual. i was wondering what axles and gearing to go with when i supercharge the 4.0L. i am runnin 33s but if i upgrade the axles then i am steppin up to 35-38s. i was also wonder what gearing i should put in my dana 30 and dana 35 for 33s that will first be runnin on a stock 4.0 for a couple of months then on a 2.5 with 31s in a tube frame buggy.

Don't waste the money on gearing the D35. Go straight to an 8.8. Do a search on gearing a D35. This comes up a couple times a week and the responses are the same. Don't gear a D35, its a waste. It truely is that weak.

If you plan on going 37's or higher with a super charger i'd suggest you go dana 60's, or 44 up front and 8.8 in the rear, but I wouldn't run those on anything bigger than 35's, I wouldn't run the super charger either, natural aspiration > forced induction
