YJ Brute conversion?

I know American Expedition Vehicles has the TJ conversion kit but wondered if anyone has tried something similar on a YJ?

http://www.aev-conversions.com/products/brute/

I'm not clear on all of the differences between body and frame between TJ and YJ, but I kind of like the idea of CJ-8 type vehicle with a larger cargo area. Just food for thought!

it would probably be cheaper to get a scrambler tub from www.jpoffroad.com then stretch your chassis. OR you could get the J-tub and add a flat bed.

Saw this on another forum. Whoever built it made some strange choices.. Squared soft upper doors, mismatched flares, massive body lift, etc. But, it's still interesting to check out. The person who posted the pictures said the seller wanted 32K.

I agree with the parts selection and what appears to be the diamond plate "inlay" in the middle of the bed panels. With as much time, effort and money that went into that, they could have at least matched the flares.

I LOVE IT!!! The exact opposite of what many people have already done by putting CJ front clips on YJ's

Jeep is building a jeep p/u next year from the current wrangler. Save your pennies and buy one.
