I think its on the top of the transfer case, if the bundle of small vacuum lines is still there just follow them under the car.

This may help -

The magic only works if the "red tube" is hooked up to the Vacuum Stub port on the firewall

There was a change in the vacuum system in 1991.
Up thru 1990 the YJ's had 3 vacuum lines running to axle disconnect.
The switch for the 4WD dash light was on the firewall and was vacuum operated.

As shown here:

In 1991 YJ's changed to a 2 vacuum line setup to the axle disconnect.
The switch for the 4WD dash light was relocated to the vacuum disconnect housing and is mechanically actuated.

As shown here:

Thanks a lot. I found it and connected the lines. Finally my 4x4 works.

x-case vacuum harness

would i need to connect that magic red hose to a manifold vacuum port or should i use one on the carb . just changed location of pcv vacuum because while going thru the gears it would blow the pcv valve out of its loose fitting grommet . seems to have eliminated that issue with little or no affect on the engine so im leaving it there !
