thats the same way i did it... opened up the rear and modified the factory flares to fit... just an old beat up mud toy here, would love for her jeep to have all the shiny things but can't justify it

Ok, so I finally had time to paint and install the rear fender flares. Metalcloak did a great job on getting me the right mounting plates fast. Here is a picture of before

And after



I hope this pictures are helpful to those who want to fit 35s with a little less than a 4 inch lift.

Can you take ashot from above....trying figure out if I need 4 or 6 inch flares.

I have about 1/2" thread sticking out on the rear and most of my tire is exposed on the front.

Just rear, the front doesn't have any. Looks great to me that way.
