What was the capacity of the AMC Wranglers? 20gal, I am assuning that they must of had the same tank. I cant believe that Chrysler did something like this, to get someone to pay for a 20gal, tank and not really do anything.

I take it this is totally safe being a filler ventalation tube. It shouldn`t pose any safety hazards right?

there were separate 15 and 20 gallon steel tanks in all YJ's until they switched to the plastic tank, which was around 92-93 IIRC

Glad the pictures helped and that's one of the best modifications you can make on a vehicle that gets 15 MPG. It was an ugly field last night but we'll take a win anyway it comes!

Just finished this mod. Took me roughly 45 minutes with no lift, it was tricky with all those angles, and a one my hose clamps was rusted but I got er done. Going to fill up now.
