Ya gotta bekidding me Bestop Trailmax 2 rear seat prob

Looking for some ideas if anyone has had the same problem.
My CJ now has a 91 tub after restoration. Turnsout that 91 was the ONLY year according to Bestop customer service that changed the bolt patterns on the rear seats. I am 1 day away from going on a week trip that will have passengers. (Beach, might not need to install rear plate if they buckle up) Bsically ALL of the plates dont line up.

The front 2 plates I maaaaybe can drill out and make work. But the back one is all crazy off.

Bestop laughed and said I would have to drop my fuel tank to install the striker plate to hold the tumble seat down. Not too funny to me. Just my luck. Dont feel like doing that for sure. .

Anyone had and solved this problem?

Thanks moderator for the title change.
Unfortunately I dont have that much time to get another seat.

Lets just say, maybe I bolt 2 bolts in the front... leave off the hold down latch in the back.
That would be better than nothing. I mean, my passengers will still be strapped in with the seat belts, right?

Maybe when I get back I can rig something up, or figure it out. Afterall, we do our best thinking while we fish!

you could cut the head of a bolt and weld the back I dont think it would be that much of a biggie just grind it off when you get back fill it in and repaint it

i left off the hold down latch on my rear seat, it just wouldnt work out for some reason and didnt really find it necessary, yes if some one light enough is sitting on it they might tilt forward if i get in an accident, but i really dont have people back there to much, i wouldnt worry about the latch.
