xj front driveshaft into a 95 yj auto trans

what years do i look for to convert the front xj driveshaft

For purposes of an sye install, the 91-95 years have been confirmed to work well. Others may work. You will need to have it cut down to fit.

Mine came from a 99 Cherokee.

87 YJ, TPI 5.7, 700R4, NP231, BDS 3.5" lift, 1" front & 5/8" rear boomerang shackles, Rubicon Dana 44 rear axle, 33" Goodyear Duratracs

i HAD a front shaft from a 93 zj (as far as i know same joints just different length as xj). but i exploded it doing burnouts on dry pavement on 31"s in 2wd. oops, now i have a temporary front wheel drive yj. off the top of my head i think the measurement for the rear DS length at ride height is somewhere around 16"-17" range on stock suspension with a sye.
