Xenon tj style flares for yj

A guy i know that had a set painted two or three years ago, they've held up fine. You guys will LOVE the color.

So fri my xenon flares came in.Yesterday i went to a few body shops to get an estimate to have em painted black,although they come in a satin black finish but i dont really care for the finish they came in.As i was saying,some of the body shops told me they really never painted urethane that much or not at all(which they are made out of)and couldnt guarntee the out come of it.

Is there anyone out there hjave these flares and have em painted or did you all just keep em with the finish they originaly came with?
And also if i decide to keep them unpainted,what would be good for uv protection?
