If I didn't already have a Jeep that I love, I'd want to build something like that! That's a thing of beauty, but do you think that it fits in his garage?

After all that work, that guy is trading it in?

He's gonna lose his shirt. Dealers don't wanna mess with heavily-modified stuff.

Those old Land Cruisers were always nice trucks. Shame Toyota didn't stick with the model a few more years...in terms of quality, they were head-and-shoulders above Jeeps.

Beautiful work on that old Toy ..

I would love to see under the hood, but I would imagine that the stock I6 that those things had (almost a perfect match to the 4.2 in the original CJ's) has been replaced with a 350 or bigger. A friend of mine has one of those, but runs a GM 502 RamJet under his hood .. it does well turning his 44" boggers.

If the vehicle is meant to be wheeled, its beautiful to me - and it doesn't matter who punched out the body-work.

Yeah my dad really wanted a cruiser but since they quit making the old ones he got a scrambler instead (new). I love those old cruisers and toyota sure doesn't have crap like the BBD and 2 piece axles. The old crusiers were much better engineered, but you'll never catch me complaining about the scrambler......

You know, they reason I want a jeep is because I can buy one new of the lot, with 0 miles and a warranty. If I was going to by older, the fj40 would be my ideal vehicle (no offense guys). Preferably with the 3F engine (fuel injection) dropped in

nice FJ... would like my CJ to look that way someday... got to apreciate the time involved in building that one... arround home there just as rare as CJ's... nice to see them still wheelin' they'll never build em' that good from the factory anymore.... that's a thing of the past and that's a shame

Looks like he'd have probabls trying to stuff the rear tires since it would go directly into the fender.

Not to mention 38.5s on weak and narrow FJ40 axles.

You can tell that thing is built for the street. Lame.

FJ axles weak????

I know lots of guys running tire at least that size locked on the stock 9.5" yota axles with some aftermarket birfs those axles are super strong.

Wheeled with a guy on 39.5 with only aftermarket birfs, and a guy in my club runs 38.5s

The real question is, if he's trading it in, what do they want for it off the lot?

im still confused...what is it? lol

is it a jeep or a yoter or a crossbreed?

i really like the way it looks, though its a bit tall w/ that big roll cage and people sitting on those rear seats it wouldnt take much to roll it.
