What i ended up doing was just wireing the 2 subs w/o the rest of the small speakers so no wireing. Im buying a 800 watt amp off my buddy for 50$

i did the same thing you did a few years ago, i picked up a cheap *** YJ did a bunch of work and then it got to a point where i thought so much **** was wrong i had to sell it. well i did sell it, and i've regretted it ever since. I think having a bunch of things go at once is part of the jeep thing, keeps us on our toes

nice find on the amp, last winter i found a sony 1200watt amp an 12" sub on ebay, 70$ to my door. Are you planning to only power the sub with that amp? or mids too ?

Im not sure yet, The 6x9 speakers are 300 watts per speaker i think so the amp might be too much power for them.

Yeah want to do that eventually. They say it gives you alot of power.
