It might work for a minute or two...watch for things (battery and wire) getting real hot from the voltage drop. __________________ Brown Dog All Brown Dog Products are 100% MADE IN USA Join our FaceBook group Brown Dog Offroad http://www.browndogoffroad.com Motor Mounts, Motor Mount Lifts (MML), and Engine Brackets for Jeep WE WILL SELL NO BROWN DOG PRODUCT UNLESS IT IS OVER-ENGINEERED AND 100% MADE IN AMERICA <<Click Here91YJ 2.5 Brown Dog Mounts and Engine Brackets 2" BL 3.5" Superlift SL AA SYE 35" BFG Mud Terrains Bulldog front bumper Best Top seats 25 foot 1/2" log chain No Top, No Doors (Cool Breeze Bikini) |

BUILT. NOT BOUGHT. Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Wilmington, NC Posts: 5,791 | aren't lantern batteries only 6v? if thats the case you could wire two in parallel and do as you described but battery life would be pretty short... lights are easy to wire up. what sort of problem are you having? a voltmeter or test light would be far easier if you are tryingt o troubleshoot rather than to uninstall, setup in the house, test, then reinstall and hope for no problems.... __________________ '89 Wrangler, 4.0/AW4, 106" Wheelbase, SOA, custom XJ packs, 2" Body.
