LMAO Sometimes When I'm looking at my Yj (which I do a lot because I love it so) I randomly think "man, I'm glad it doesn't look like that mexi-jeep on JF with the dubs and the ridiculous huge flares. Nothing personal against that guy but everytime he post a new pic of his jeep doing something "AWESOME" I throw up in my mouth a little.
Ironic that I am reading this at this time. As I was going home for lunch I saw a 2-dr JK painted a pinkish purple with these huge Rockstars and the Texas Star on the grill parked at a detail shop. I love my Jeeps, but this thing was aweful! It hurt my brain to see a perfectly capable Jeep turned into a heap of crap! (Sorry folks, just my opinion).
Throttle body spacers...I know there will be some argument on this but I really believe they are just $50 paper weights. Carb spacers, yeah there will be improvements but throttle body spacers are just plain silly.
A rebuild kit for a Carter BBD. Finally fixed that problem for good.
I agree, and throwing any money on the stock ignition system, bad from the start, only turns to worse over time

That's why you get an H4 kit so you don't have to buy the sealed beam ones which crap out when you blow on them. I have IPF H4 conversion housings and Silverstar H4s that have been in there since mid 2003 and probably 50K miles with no sign of crapping out yet.
I see a lot of Jeeps rolling around here with huge tires and huge lifts but no winch and no decent recovery points.
i have these on my jeep, and i hate them everyday i drive it. They old mud, rocks, and whatever else you might find on the trail. (if you actually use your jeep) only reason i havent changed them yet, is i did everything first. Winch, 8.8swap, tube fenders, rockers, custom front and rear bumpers. Now looking into 35s on soft 8s.
