Any mod that involves putting $.01 or more into a D35 "upgrade".

www.pghoffroad.com
My SOA Build
Recovery Gear Basics
My BUDGET York OBA Install
Budget Welding Cart
Carling Contura Switch Panel

If it has tracks, tires or tits, its gonna cause a problem.

"Everytime someone "upgrades" a D35, an angel looses its wings."

"Dizzy" - What SnoopDog would call a Distributor if he was a mechanic. I cringe every time I hear this moronic term

I have a heavy set on my heep. Now I would agree to the light weight paper thin ones.

A 89 yj with a 4.0 aw4 sye out of an 92xj. Now the hard part is done time to get it up in the air just a bit. Working on 8.8 with 3.73 and lsd for the rear. and new D30 hp with 3.73 .
For those who have not figured this out I'm old school but can handle the new too.

TJ grill. Ha ha, just kidding.

I always see those windshield tree branch deflector wire things in the Quadratec catalog. They are like wires that go from the top of the windshield down to the fenders. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

94 YJ w/ stuff. All the work/money I put into it, and the comment I get most is my $20 mod: "Hand throttle?!? That's awesome."

Yea.

I like them but think I could make my own a lot cheaper. They protect the ws frame from tree limbs and scratches but all our jeeps are covered in scratches already.

HAHA... agreed!! Plus... the way my Jeep is set up all the good meat would get stuck in my bull bar ready to cook up when I get home. Just the torso if I hit it dead center. Well it would... in my own little world where it wouldn't total my Jeep in the process.

I'd call a coil-over conversion kit a pointless mod. I know some of you have spent a rediculous amount of money on those and I have to admit a YJ with coils is kinda cool if you've got the money to burn. But it's probably a better use of your money to get a TJ to start with since they already have coil-overs and the exact same AMC 242 as the YJs do with a better intake and manifold.
