Wiper control module

I have a 93 wrangler. Can someone tell me where the module is located in the jeep. They are not parking after turn off. Failed state inspection. Help

Could you tell me is it on the drivers side or passengers side. I have looked and don't see it. Is it easily accessed or do I need to remove any panels. Thanks for any info provided.

it might be missing. I threw mine away once thinking it was part of an old alarm system. I got a new junkyard one for $5. google "jeep wiper control module." It should be somewhere under the dash near your steering column

Ok thanks that may be the case. I will buy a new one and plug it in. I recently changed the turn signal switch and I don't recall a black box. Thanks for the information.

Far left side, held on with a big piece of velcro.

Not sure if your 93 is the same but when my 89 wipers wouldn't park it was the switch in the column. Did yours park before you changed the turn signal switch?

Good luck finding a new one. Just pull the module and plug the 2 sides together. The module is only for intermittent wipe.

I can't say for sure on Jeep, but usually wiper parking is part of the wiper motor.

Mine don't park either, and I don't have a module. No intermittent function on mine.

Man, that is a damned strict state inspection.

Yeah new ones are obsolete, I pulled the one out of my old 89 XJ and it works perfectly in my 95 YJ even though interchange says otherwise. I like having the pulse...sometimes.

Just time it and turn them off at park location

One of the wires from the column is for park--grab a chiltons manual and it will have the wiring schematic

Just for the record, the box held in with Velcro is for wiper delay only. You can unplug both sides and put the connectors together without the box. You won't have delay but you will still have hi and low. If it still doesn't park, then it's the park switch in the motor.
