Windshield wiper motor

My windshield wiper motor has stopped working on my 94 YJ. Going to the local junkyard this week with a buddy and im gonna look and see if I can find a wiper motor. Where i'm going has a few XJ's. Will the windshield wiper motor from a XJ work? Thanks for the help.

Your best bet for a used one is craigslist. Bone yards never have wranglers.

Check the plug under the dash. It's the rather large one velcroed on. I thought my wiser motor died and it was just that plug came loose. Wiper motor was only like 50 bucks at autozone.

Thanks, I'll check under the dash first. I'm also thinking something could have came loose when my hood flew up and busted my windshield. It's been 11 months since I've driven my Jeep and can't remember if they worked after the new windshield was installed
