Windshield wiper location

I keep seeing pictures of YJ's with their wipers down to the bottom of the windshield. Is my jeep the only one that has wipers sticking in the middle of the glass

No, what you have is stock. The ones you see down are aftermarket. I can't remember who makes them. Someone will know and chime in.

Unless you modify them with this: http://riptech.net/ you can put them wherever you want, but the only work effectively when on the windshield like Jeep engineered them.
