Since we're on the wiper subject, mine are REALLY slow, anyway to speed them up a bit?

Here's the link: The linkages are longer and allow the wiper arms to lay horizontal when off.

I just swapped my wiper system over to a new frame and the part that the wipers attach to have built in limits so I'm not sure how you could change the sweep angle of the wiper itself. I am curious though

I have a wiper question to for you guys. Where is a good place (other then the JY, i have looked) for the little bushings that go on the linkages in the frame itself. My wipers have alot of play, i put the windshield down and all the bushing were toast. All the ones i have looked for in the JY are in the same condition. Any ideas on were to get them?

Post in the JK tech forum, instead of the YJ tech forum? :-)

go back in time and buy a 89 YJ instead. Then pull straight out on the wiper blade.

If you mean "how do I replace the wipers" then you can follow this link to youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xunyuDufSos

Riptech

I put the Riptech wiper on my '87. I always hated the wipers in the windshield. The change over is very easy. I already had the windshield off and it took about 10 minutes to change. You don't have to take the windshield off, you can take the dash off to get to the wiper motor. I will give an update when I get everything back together. Will be a little while as I am doing some body work and painting at the same time.

Update

Finally got around to updating this thread. The wipers are great. No trouble at all to install and work great and lay flat. Happy wiping...
