Windshield hinges

I bought some "mirror mover" brackets that piggyback the stock mirrors to the lower part of the windshild hinge. I can't access the nuts on the inside under the dash. Especially on the drivers side. Does anyone know how I can get the bolts out. I would drill them out but then how am I supposed to get new ones in if I cant hold the nut on the new bolt to tighten it?

Do a search on "mirror mounts." There have been at least three threads this week about your very question. You should be able to find tons of good info....Good Luck!

Make sure to hold the mounts up in their place to kind of visualize where they are before you install them, or have someone else hold them up while you sit in the driver's seat. I have the mirror mounts that bolt onto the lower windshield hinge and you can't see the passenger side mirror with full doors on! I haven't tried them yet with my soft doors, but just something to keep in mind while you can still return them.
