Will a Weber fix this?
I have a 1990 YJ with a 258-6. I've added an MSD ignition and done the Nutter Bypass. It is running pretty good now but... It takes three tries to get it started. The high speed idle(warm-up) doesn't work. It wont idle until it reaches operating temp. approx 200 degrees. I would like to be able to start the thing on one try and then let it warm up itself without me sitting there pumping the gas for 10 minutes. Does anybody know if a weber carb will correct these problems? Maybe you have some other suggestions. Thanks.
My Ride: 1990 YJ, 4.2, 5 speed, msd ignition, TFI Cap, 4" skyjacker lift, 1/2" shackles, nutter bypass, bestop seats, herculined floor, Flowmaster, Oversized cat, Xterrains on Rock Crawlers
You may try adjusting your choke; if that doesn't work, it may need to be replaced. That's a buttload cheaper than a new carb, but it doesn't fix all the problems that go with this carb. My bucks will be going to a F.I. setup just as soon as I need to rebuild
"What, behind the bunny?"

'83 Blazer- 8"suspension, 3" body, 35-15's and soon to get the 383!
