Which Best Top?

Never ascribe to malice, that which can be explained by incompetence.

I've got a YJ Supertop and it's pretty decent as far as up-down goes. I swapped to a family style bar, and it's quite tight to slide past the rear corners, but it does clear with the pads on. Pads off it'd probably not touch.

I read this Pirate writeup of a TJ top on a YJ with custom cage. He tacked a bracket onto his cage to use the TJ bars, then cut openings into his windshield frame to use the TJ clips up front. YJ doors, he says, are 1" too short and will need to be swapped to TJ doors. You can read the thread there. He's also on jeepkings.
