Get some PB Blaster and spray the bolts on the bottom side of the carriage. Let them soak over night, then try again.

x2, pb works wonders, especially if you do it over the course of several days. Try it tomorrow if it doesn't come loose, spray and repeat. It'll eventually break loose from using it, or enough force.

I've gotten mixed up a few times. Mostly when upside down or reaching behind something to losen or tighten.

A zip wheel and grinder works wonders.

WD-40 on the bolts, soak them ! Then use a breaker bar aka impact wrench. This method worked on old 10+ years rusted bolts holding the back seat down.

good luck,

justin

A trick that works for me; once the bolt starts turning out, spray the top side (where the socket goes) with pentitrating oil, and then tighten it back in. Each time you loosen it, go a little further, and repeat. This will saturate the threads with oil.

When using brute force in the past, I've just busted bolts. The back and forth method seems to work better for me.

Mark.

i had the same problem...umm u have to make sure ur flat against the bolt..use some pb blaster also...after that get a breaker bar and put a steady pressure on the bolt...to put too hard tho...if that doesnt work heat the bolts up....and by some chance if u strip them go to sears and i mean sears or kmart and get a craftsman stripped bolt remover and hammer that on then when finished take them back and say u didnt like them satisfaction gaurentteed remember that..the only reason i say is that they make good quaility stuff for pretty cheap....o yea if u cant get them off still get a cold chizzle and try to do it from there try to turn it with a hammer and cold chizzle by hitting it in the loosening direction it may be stuck by rust that works sometimes
