Where to start??

Alrighty just brought the YJ home and I'm wondering where to start.
Heres a rundown on the vehicle:

1992 YJ
4.0
ax15
no idea what transfer case it is
157k miles

probs:
smokes abit on start-up
needs exhaust from muffler back (already gots new muffler)
needs a tune-up
valve cover leaks
4x4 will not engage

oh and the rust:
worst part of the frame, the rest is fine

opposite side:

driver's floor:

rocker (i'm sur there's more rust behind that stupid step plate...

and the back corner:

So well where the hell should I start???

Yeah I know, lol.
But if I can replace broken things with better parts that are consered mods, then I will.
IE: springs, etc
I'm just gunna wait till I do a lift to replace those.
But I figured $450 with hardtop and the half doors that I've already gotten several offers to sell, I figured ah that's a good deal IMO.
But It runs great. smokes, but not bad vibes, nothin like that.
