Where to get Family Style Roll Bar

I want to change the roll bars on my 88YJ and get the family style. Anyone know where to get a set and are they hard to install?

Thats a good question, I am interested in that too. Maybe could we get one out of a new Wrangler? Would that bolt in?

I know Rockhard4x4parts.com has an add on kit. Not the cheapest solution but they make quality products.

i would be more than happy to trade you the roll bar off my 95 for your triangular style. the only problem would be our locations. san diego is a beautiful city ya know...

it is an easy swap, all bolt holes line up, i did the opposite swap of what you are trying to do, check your local junkyard, i sold mine on craigslist.com, check for one there or ebay, and i dont believe the tj roll bar will work

My 87 YJ is missing the part of the roll bar that goes over the headspace over the driver and passenger doors that connect to the window. The rest of the roll cage is intact. The guy that I bought it from was tall and musta got sick of knocking his head the rest is intact. I would love to replace them cause my bikini and soft tops dont secure as well without em. Anyone got an angle on those parts please let me know.

If any of those trades fall through let me know. I will be heading down to S.D. this weekend and we could possibly set up a trade for my 90 yj roll bar.

the square backs as they are called will bolt right in. i did the swap and was very happy with and felt much safer with it in. i would suggest replacing all the torx bolt you pull out with grade 8 since torx bolts with the dumbest thing jeep ever did
