Where do i put my blue light for my Fire Dept?

I'm a volunteer firefighter and we are required to have some sort of blue light on our vehicles when we respond to calls. where can i put a flashing blue light on my 93 YJ? i have a soft top so the roof is out of the question.

well it depends what kinda light you plan on getting. Theres plenty of places to mount the smaller ones. I have mine mounted about my rear view mirror. Join The group thats on my profile and there are pics of everyones light setups on there

if you go on galls they have really nice led onese that can mount onto your windshield and are intensely bright w/ endless flash patterns. I got mine for one hundred and i love it

You could probably make a mount very inexpensively out of some all thread, self tapping screws, nuts washers, and a piece of angle iron and screw it to the windshield with the self tappers.

Good luck.

I would think you might be able to get something behind the grill and in front of the radiator.

i like that setup kkchevy3! I am a cop here in tn and i am required to tell you that you need to check your local laws about things like strobing blue lights. here it is illegal to even install them unless they are in an emergency vehicle and that only includes police cars. also to be an emergency vehicle you have to have an audible siren. otherwise, you can get away by only using it for an emergency vehicle in an emergency situation.

here in ny everyone has strobes. so its not a problem. I got mine blue and white and for 100 bucks it was the best light ive bought. i dont think ive ever seen a rotater in someones car lol . I just want to add 2 grill lights because people just dont like moving during the day. I guess they just dont see it as well
