check out this website. i was looking for good prices for the ext. duty kit. they have free dt3000 shocks and free shipping. the std. lift kit is $549.50 if you find a website w/ better deals, drop me a pm. by the way, i emailed the company to see if they still used procomp springs, and they do not. they get all orders directly from RE.

here' the site

I got my 2.5" Extreme Duty for ~$700 including the 150 or so for shipping. He also sells Rancho 9000X shocks for $280 a set.

i had the same question. after all of my research, and after asking the quesiton here on this forum (you can check out my post and see the replies) i really do feel that it is worth the extra money. the kit is so much more complete, and the springs are tons better. they have more flex due to the tapering ends. the standard springs, although very good compared to other companies', are not the same as the extreme duty lift kit. the only downside to this kit, as i recently found out, is that you need to install a slip yoke eliminator kit and a cv driveshaft. crawltech.com also has a good deal on a combo for 475...includes shipping. i have not yet purchased anything from crawltech, so i do not know about their reliability. however, from what i've seen so far, they are a very sound company. they replied to my email within a few minutes. also, their prices are the best that i can find. i'm in the same boat as you....just waiting a few more weeks to get enough to get my lift kit. also, check this site out to see what your jeep would look like w/ the extreme duty kit installed. good luck!

i looked into the driveshaft issue further a while ago, i talked to a couple of my buddies who got this lift, they said that the kit included a 2 inch t case drop and thats all you need, one of these people has been in the Jeep scene for a VERY long time, its all he does, and he says with the 2 inch T-case drop i will be fine, i am going to get the driveshaft and yolk slip eliminator, but thats a ways off, (4-5 months probably)

also, i dont want to get the extreme duty because im still in high school and dont have a job so im on a pretty strict budget, and i already have a 2 inch body lift, so with the body and suspension combo i will have a 6 inch, any bigger then that and i will need 35s, i just bought brand new 33 inch MT/Rs a month ago

hey, if you're looking at ordering from crawltech or jeepin outfitters, you'd better do it soon. i got emails from both of them saying that their prices will change very shortly. strike while the iron's hot!

I don't know how much better this kit is than Rusty's, but looking at the components they are about the same. The difference I can see assuming both company's springs are similar is the price, the rusty kit is $410 compared to $550 for the rubicon. But like I said I don't know what the quality difference is.
