I would check your local junkyards.

At least that's where I would start.

The Jeep can't be the only vintage vehicle with clips like that so yes the junkyard. Its a scavenger hunt I know but you may get lucky and will also get to see what else they have for you.

Good points. I figured the ones in the junk yard would be as rusty as mine, but they can't all be bad.

If it is just rust you can clean it up in minutes and the paint it. Real easy with a bench grinder on the wire wheel.

The bottom part of the clip in the picture has gotten brittle from rust and won't anchor into the air box anymore.

From the parts diagrams I'm finding online, looks like it's part of the lower air box assembly, and probably not available separately.



Bungie cord maybe?
