Looking at buying a SYE and axle flange for my 92 YJ to install Explorer 8.8 axle. I am also looking at getting a Tom Woods CV shaft or similar product.

What is a good kit for the SYE and the CV shaft?
Tom Woods has the SYE kit and a new cv drive for about $400.00

I got my SYE from Porc http://www.performanceoffroadcenter....b440f927d50151

and my driveshaft from http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-JEEP-131...item3a668f198f

I paid $215.00 shipped to my door and have only heard good things about the shafts he builds.

Thanks for all the info.

I ended up buying a shaft from Craigslist NEW for $200. Guy bought it, then decided to do a V8 swap and went with the 1330 U-joint shaft instead of the 1310.

Probably going to call JB Conversions.....I like the way the transfer case flange is shorter and clearanced than the OTHER SYE KITS.

Any comments on this is appreciated.

This would be Tattons, and I would have agreed with you right up until I had a yoke failure and he told me to pound sand. I didn't even break the ujoint (1310) the yoke just split apart. I did notice he took the halfaz mention of a warranty off his add.
