you need the fuel pump "hanger" Sometimes you can get it all in one piece. If you let us know what engine size you have we can help you further.

the cap comes attached to the the pump assembly. The rubber gasket underneath will probably need to be replaced if he didn't get that. Did he just buy the pump? That will not work if the plate is all rusted out. He will need the full assembly.

You need to buy the sending unit. It's the whole piece that mounts in the tank. They can be bought with or without the pump. You can find them cheaper but here's one...PartsTrain.com - Hard to Find Auto Parts and Truck Parts -

ok guys after doing some research, i see the 94-95 fuel pump/fuel sending unit is readily available everywhere for a reasonable price. does anyone know what the difference is between the 91-93 sending units and the 94-95 sending units?? is it fairly easy to convert a 91-93 unit to the newer 94-95 setup??

I'm guessing that it is a matter of pump pressure. I don't know for sure. That would mean that they are not interchangeable. I ordered mine off ebay because it was way cheaper that anything local (over $200). I also painted the plate and tubes before I installed it to help forestall any future rust issues.
