In your case I would avoid using the 4wd.

Problem solved.

You probably a vacuum leak in the 4x4 system. Its most likely between the switch on the TC and the font axle.

On a roll tonite, huh?
As Dake said, start looking into a vacuum leak going to your front axle.

What are you doing when it starts to bog? 4wd can't work miracles, if you're in the wrong gear or don't have the gearing needed for the conditions you're driving in it will bog.

Some days you just feel like being a dick.

The OP has been a member for a year now. I`ve read and re read his question and have come to the conclusion that he is totally lost and cannot even convey his problem adequately.

Hoping that a bit of sarcasm might motivate him to try just a little harder.

Roger that. I spent a half hour today reading thru SOA help that you offered and am aware of what you are capable of. Carry on, Sir.

Not sure about the needing to sit before it'll start back up again, but the other day we were riding with someone who didn't have a lot of experience. She kept bogging down & stalling out. 3/4 of the way through, someone hopped in her jeep to help her through a rough spot. Turns out she'd been in 4hi the whole time, once she dropped to 4lo, she stopped bogging down and stalling.

Some times it's the simple things...

No excuse and things have not changed. I don't call 18 to be "seasoned".

Due to a horrible description I will just say your fuel pump is overheating and reducing pressure thus bogging down and shutting off .

Or your in 4hi and in the wrong gear when you should be in 4lo Your possibly under geared for your tires. Maybe a combination of all the above.
