when i make tight turns in 4x4 my jeep bounces forward! WHY???
 
okay heres my problem. when i put my 91 yj into fourwheel drive and try to make tight turns it feels as if the jeep is lunging forward and stopping and just wont turn normal. but in 2x4 it is fine. is this normal or is this a problem. please help me out by emailing me at riceswimmer@aol.com

THe bouncing is normal because all four tires are spinning so when you go to make a tight turn the font tires tend to kick because the usually don't have any power behind them in 2x4

You really shouldn't drive in 4 wheel drive on dry pavement - wait til your on the dirt or the road is at least wet. That lunging puts stress on the 4 wheel drive components.

You need the inside tire to slip to turn smoothly in 4 wheel drive.
