Wheel Questions

Ok, I am interested in getting some new wheels for the old YJ. The rims that the last owner put on are on-road to be honest and they don't float my boat. I was wondering, what bolt pattern am I looking for? Is it the same as a GM five lug? Also, if I get an offset wheel, can I run larger tires? I am looking to get some 33's on my YJ which is currently stock height. I won't have the $$ to lift her up for a while. Any help is appreciated.

Your lug pattern is 5 on 4 (5 lugs, 4" spacing). Most aftermarket wheels that increase in width over stock wheels should have the appropriate offset. Just ask for wheels for your application.

As for 33's, wait until you have the money for a lift too. 33's will scrape your fenders and flares all to hell, and may bind in the wheel wells if you get fully compressed on either side.
