wheel adapters ?

I found a deal on some new wheels and rims I couldn't pass up. But they are 17"wheels on 5x5. And I have a Yj which is 5x4.5. And the 33s will run on springs. So I was thinking about adapters? Good idea?

Adapters in general are fine.

I run 5on5 adapters on my Dana 30, have been for three years now. I haven't had any problems myself.

The only PITA is if you need to take off the Jesus nut, you have to take the adapter off to get to the cotter key.

I run them with JK steel 16" rims and 33's.

Actually, it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

The Jesus nut? That made me snort snot out of my mouth and choke on the remainder stuck in my nose.
