whats wrong with my jeep?

i have 1990 jeep wrangler yj with the 2.5L, and it will not start and stay running.
when we try to start it, it turns over and everythingike normal, it has great spark, 15LBS feul preasure, all the cylinders have 130LBS compression. we checked for anything to be wet. it ran fine one week ago, then we parked it and it sat for 5 days, then i went to start it up and it wouldnt stay running , you have to keep giving it gas to keep it running. it will not idle. did anybody ever experience these problems or have any answers. thanks in advance.

Some possibilities:
1. Vacuum leak - broken vacuum line.
2. Failed or malfunctioning emission component - EGR or PCV.
3. Leaky manifold (intake)
4. Timing chain
5. Ignition timing
6. Choke

15 PSI on the fuel pressure is way low, should be around 35-45 at idle IIRC.

<edit>look for a weak fuel pump or clogged fuel filter or bent fuel lines<edit>

My Jeep runs with the o2 sensor unplugged...so I would guess that its not the o2..... it runs like crap but it still would run.

Ohhhh it's TBI, if that is spec than that's ok. I thought it was MPI.

Does the TBI have an IAC? Idle air control motor? Mine did the same thing and the IAC was at fault. Mine is bolted to the throttle body on the 4.0L. Same thing, mine was sitting for a good week for me working on the clutch and then when I was all done she couldn't idle. I drowned the IAC in intake cleaner and drove her for awhile and she cleaned right out.
