What's a good Muffler I can pick up today for under $100?

So here is the thing, I am pulling out my cat to replace it with a strait pipe. I undo the front and at the same time the back of the cat drops down. Well turns out the input for my muffler rusted out and just fell down with the cat still bolted to it. So now I need to get a new muffler today since I have a road trip tomorrow. Whats something cheap that's not a stock muffler that I could pick up at a store?

And no, I don't really think I should just run a strait pipe all the way back . . . would be cool . . . but no.

Or should I just go with something super cheap like a $30 cherrybomb from Autozone?

you can get them at autozone also but i guess it depends on if this is just a temporary muffler or a permanent? Permanent, i would go with Flowmaster 40 series. 2 1/4 inch pipe center inlet, offset outlet is factory.

I looked at autozone and all they have (that are 2.25") are cherry bombs and some 90 dollar muffler with no name. This does not need to be permanent, but does need to hold me over for a couple of months.

Just go with the cherry bomb, and save up for a full catback setup, would be my advice.

I second the cherrybomb. $20-$30, if you band it on rocks or brake a hole in it, so what...it was $30, buy another. Put on a flowmaster its gonna run you $150-$300...and if you brake it you'll be pissed.

Are glass packs bad? I don't really know all that much about mufflers.
