Whats this

looking at a 93 yj 6 cylinder, guy told me that 5th was out of the origanal tranny so he put this tranny and transfer case out of a commanche in it what are these two (2) things and what do they do..thanks guys

The second picture is your vacuum disconnect on your front axle. It locks the passenger side of the two piece shaft via vacuum lines connected to the transfer case. When you shift to 4wd, it locks the axle to a solid state.

the first pic is of the slave cylinder line to the throwout bearing, and the bleeder line for it. the second pic is of the cad axle that disconnects when not in 4wd

It would take somebody that's far too stupid to even think about doing that, that it takes to actually do it. The dumb factor meter would be pegged long before the foolishness set in.

Its probably an older AX 15 cause that is exactly what my internal slave AX 15 looks like.
