What is your oil pressure?

My oil pressure using the factory gauge always runs around 60-65 psi when cold, then between 40 and 60 when warmed up. In the past I have seen much lower numbers from people on here. Just curious to see what some people are getting. My 4.0 has 162,000 miles on it.

Worthless thread..... OEM gauge sucks ..... replace the gauge, then you will have numbers that actually relate to something to talk about.

65 lbs cold idle, 50 lbs hot highway (about 2200 RPM) 35 lbs hot idle. 2.5 L 4-banger, 152 K miles original engine. I use 10W30 Mobil-1 full synthetic with the Mobil-1 oil filter.

I run just over 40 when warm/hot at speed and around 20 at idle.

I have had my 4.0 HOT.....forgot to turn on electric fan once. Took 15 minutes for temp guage to start moving from being pegged all the way right. I am happy to see any oil pressure after that incident.

What is your basis for saying the OEM gauge sucks? Mine has always trended well -- higher pressure when cold and higher at high rpms. Either way, it seems like a lot of people have the OEM gauge, so if they all "suck" the same, I don't think it's worthless to compare them.
