What year are my full hard yj doors?

I bought a great set of doors that are missing some parts. When I look at replacement parts, several of them depend on the year of the door rather than the fact that it's a yj door. The interior door handle linkage and lock cylinders are my main concern. They appear to differ from one yj year to the next in many cases. How do I tell what year my door/latch/handles etc... are from???

See if one of them has the VIN sticker on it.
If it does you can use the info on it to determine the year.

Look at the 10th digit...
H = 1987
J = 1988
K = 1989
L = 1990
M = 1991
N = 1992
P = 1993
R = 1994
S = 1995

Yup, but make sure its the VIN on the door not the rig.

it will be the vehicle vin form when the jeep came form the factory if its got a vin on it. my doors match my my vehicle vin because my laredo came with factory hardtop and full doors. they are 87 model doors.

just do the pic, easier since most doors won;t have the vin sticker on them still. i don;t know why my 87 doors do but my wife's 93 doors didn't and her sahara was a factory hardtop and full door jeep also

Looks just like my OEM 1992 doors for what its worth. Don't the later 94/95ish YJ door panels go all the way up?

Non pop out wing windows? Lower model doors Don't have material all the way to the top, like doors from a sport instead of a Laredo or Sahara. Wing windows popped out on early doors though

Ah good eye. My 92s have pop out smoker windows. So, they are newer than 92 then? The latching mechanism looks the same.
