what temperture does your yj run?

I changed thermostat in my yj to 190deg. but it run 160deg. How can I
get it to run warmer?

Yeah a couple things temp sensor and gauge may be the issue. Depends on year and engine but see if you have an issue with either.

Change the temperature gauge sender at the back, driver side of the head. Mine ran perfectly, but the gauge only read 1/4 of the sweep. I changed the sender and it runs right at 210* on the gauge.

I run between 195 and 210. I prefer closer to 210.

Do as UltimatE said and change the temp sensor on the head. Are you sure you didn't put a 160 thermostat in by accident (store gave you the wrong one)? The temp is stamped on the bottom of it.
