body lift??? i just don't get it....why?

Better approach/departing angles, room for bigger tires and more room to flex, less body to get hung up on rocks, stumps, trees, etc. Those are 4 good reasons. Here are a couple of other conveniences as well: Easier to clean the undercarriage with pressure hose, easier to work on your jeep, that is if you have the 3".

Are you thinking of doing one or just trying to be funny?

body lift on it's own doesn't give you better approach/departure angles. the frame is not moving anywhere, so the bumpers, suspension components stay where they are too.
