What's this connector (and bonus OBA question)?

So, I've got the air conditioning pump all hooked up physically, and the system is plumbed. I've hot-wired it and filled up a tire, and now it's time to wire the dash. I pulled the dash cover off, and figured I'd mount the switch next to the rear wiper switch. When I got the covers off, I saw a red connector that looks just like the black connector for the rear wiper.

Then I had an evil-genius type thought: what if this is where the original wire ends up for AC? I know where that is, since I re-used the connector to hook up my AC pump. If that were the case, I could use that original wire in my circuit, and not make a mess of the wiring in the engine bay.

So, here are the questions I have: Is this red connector the AC connector? If so, how would I figure out which terminals to use in the switch, and would finding a junkyard stock switch work?

Dang. That makes sense, since the Rock Auto catalog shows the rear defogger switch being the same size/shape. Guess I'll be running a new wire...

The red plug is for the rear defroster. The black plug is for the rear wipe/washer.

Do you know what was good about the good old days? I wasn't good, And I wasn't old!

Senators and Congressman should wear uniforms like NASCAR drivers so we could identify their corporate sponsors....

I ended up just pulling a new wire in through the firewall. It's all wired up now. Thanks.
