What's the best brand of grease to use with greasable bushings?

Quick question- the title pretty much sums this up, but what's the best brand of grease to use with greasable poly bushings? I'm installing my OME suspension kit this weekend and want to do this right the first time.
Also, along with your recommendations, please give the retailer that stocks the grease (preferably somewhere that would carry it locally, not an online retailer)

Thanks ,

I use Sta-Lube Marine Grease.

You should be able to pick it up locally, pretty easy.

Simple answer: Have you ever heard of bushings failing because of the "kind" of grease used? No. They fail or wear out because of "lack" of grease. Just pick the brand you want and lube regularly.

What kind of bushings do you have? If it's poly bushings i've searched poly bushing grease and found that poly bushings don't like petroleum base grease, they suggest synthetic grease, available at most parts stores, i used it on my greasables with poly bushings, but like the rest of the guys said, main thing it's greased....just thought i'd mention the poly & synthetic grease....

Obviously I've never heard of bushings failing because of the brand of grease used... And yes, I assumed any brand of grease would probably work... (I work with heavy machinery every day and am familiar with these things) But I just like knowing what other Jeep owners use and recommend. Isn't that the purpose of this forum?

Not a bad question as some lithium greases (PB is one that comes to mind) even though they say Silicone Lithium grease are actually petroleum based which can cause bushings to break down early. Non petroleum based (silicone) is the way to go.

What Joe said. I tend to stick with marine grade grease on everything in and under the Heep. It just seems to hold up a it better As its designed to not break down when it gets wet

Hopefully the OP has found time in the last 2 years to grease his bushings.

I got a tube of heavy equipment grease at napa. I don't recall the brand but it was supposed to collect less dirt; I'm guessing it is less stick on the outside after a while.

I use regular chassis grease. Mainly because I have a couple cans leftover from other jobs and no matter what grease I use it still tends to get dried up and full of dirt. But that's just me.
