dang guys, so absolutely no rhyme or reason to how the production number was come up with? it seems like maybe whoever came to work first would pick a number and those would be the ones assigned for that day?

Most of it had to do what what parts they had coming in and what orders they filled on how the numbering came about. Now let's say you order yours on 2-8-00 Then I order mine on 2-9-00 well your would have a serial number before mine but they had the parts to run mine but you had something that needed to be brought into the plant. Then my build date would before yours but serial number after yours. Serial number are assigned by order numbers not when they came down the line. Now I hope this might straighten out any confusion. And again a dealer might order 20 units at the beginning of a model year and have a certain amount of then off set to be made 3 week and the another group 8 weeks out they will be serial number together but built at different times. so you could have number 12045 with a built date of 10-10 and the 12046 with a built date of 1-31 of the next year.

Every other number was right on though... What's the email for Chrysler so they can send me a build sheet?
